As a federal Conservative MP first elected on October 14, 2008, Calandra had a perfect voting record on life & family issues, with the exception of one vote on Stephen Woodworth's Motion 312 - to study what modern medical science says about when a child in the womb becomes a human being - which Calandra voted against, under pressure from the PMO's office.
